Rising star Samaready is set to establish herself as Australia’s top sprinter in tomorrow night’s Manikato Stakes at Moonee Valley.
Samaready is a firm $2.50 favourite with online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au and has attracted four times the money than any other runner in the G1.
Money suggests punters see Hong Kong sprinter Lucky Nine ($7.50) as the only chance of causing an upset, while perennial bridesmaid Buffering ($6.50) is the only other runner under double figures.
“Samaready will wear the crown as our best sprinter if she wins again and the punters seem to think she will. The mare ticks a lot of boxes, she was super impressive in the Moir Stakes last start and loves the Valley,” sportsbet.com.au’s Ben Hawes said.
Arinosa remains on the fourth line at $11, Rebel Dane has firmed from $13 into $11, while Bel Sprinter has eased from $13 out to $15 and Shamexpress $17 out to $19.
Sportsbet.com.au will refund punters their bet on the Manikato Stakes if their horse runs second to favourite Samaready.
